Railway to develop new station at Bhupalpally
Indian Railways (IR) is planning to develop a new railway station at Bhupalpally and a bus stand near Kazipet railway station. The Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw gave assurance for the same to Warangal MP Kadiyam Kavya during their meeting.
The MP said this aspirational district, home to Singareni Collieries and TGGenco, relies on trucks for coal transport, causing accidents, pollution, and road damage. The Railway Ministry has directed South Central Railway to conduct a feasibility study for the Bhupalpally project, with a detailed report expected within 6 months.
