Mega Food Park Inaugurated By Union Food Processing Minister
The unioun Minister of Food Processing Industries, Narendra Singh Tomar in the presence of Chief Minister, Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel virtually inaugurated the Indus Best Mega Food Park. The mega food park inaugurated on Thursday in the city of Raipur is expected to create 5,000 jobs. Further, it is expected to help 25,000  farmers.Â
The park along with other facilities has cold storage of 3,745 tonnes, a packhouse of 10 tonnes per hour, a dry warehouse of 12,000 tonnes, a boiler of eight-tonne. Further, the food park has 3 primary processing centres at Raipur, Bilaspur and Durg districts with facilities for primary processing and storage near farms.Â
