MEIL Energy acquires TAQA Neyveli Power Company
The subsidiary of Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL), MEIL Energy Private Limited, has acquired a 100% stake in TAQA Neyveli Power Company Private Ltd from Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC.
With this acquisition, MEIL gets a 250 MW lignite-fired power facility in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu, pushing its generation capacity beyond 5.2 GW.
