National Fertilizers and RCF join hands to develop nano-urea plant
National Fertilizers (NFL) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF) have come together to set up 5 new factories to manufacture nano-urea. The nano-urea is under a license from IFFCO, for its patented nanotechnology-based fertilizer.
This comes as India is targeting a production of 440 million bottles equivalent to 20 million tonnes of urea by 2025 to further reduce the environmental impact of fertilizer.
