NBCC floats tender for construction work in Bihar
Public sector firm NBCC (India) has floated a tender inviting bids for the construction work in Bihar. The order is for the construction of Phase-II residential housing complex on an engineering, procurement, and construction basis in Bahadurpur, Patna.
As per the tender estimated cost of the work is Rs 143.41 crore. The scope of the work involves the construction of three residential towers—Tower I, Tower II, and Tower III (each comprising Stilt + 10 floors), as well as EWS & LIG housing units (Stilt + 11 floors). Further, work involves the development of a club, podium (including a swimming pool), parking facilities, STP, an underground water tank, a pump room, a water treatment plant (WTP), a boundary wall, a gate and gate office, and an electrical sub-station.
Built-up area of the complex is 35,744.36 sq. mtrs. The winning contractor would be responsible for not only the complete design, engineering, and construction within 18 months but also five years of operation & maintenance.
