NHPC gets 2 power projects from Arunachal Pradesh
National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) Ltd has got 2 projects namely the 2,000 MW Subansiri Upper Hydro project and the 1,800 MW Kamala project allotted by the Arunachal Pradesh state government. Both projects were earlier allotted to private power developers.
The Subansiri Upper Project is situated in the Upper Subansiri district of the state on the Subansiri River, while the Kamala Project is in the Kamle district on the Kamala River.
