GBTPL bags order worth over Rs 343 crore from Kolkata port
Ganges Bulk Terminal Pvt. Ltd. (GBTPL) has bagged an order worth Rs 343.58 crore from Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata (SMPK). The PPP (public-private partnership) contract is for the mechanisation of berth No. 5 at Haldia Dock Complex, aiming to improve cargo handling efficiency.
Work is to be executed on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis, which will equip the berth to handle 5 million metric tonnes of dry bulk cargo annually, with work expected to be completed by 2027.
