Parle Agro Eyes Rs 10,000 Crore Revenue, Plans For Expansion
Food and beverage firm Parle Agro is gearing up to touch a turnover of Rs 10,000 crore by 2022. With that, the company is eyeing to set up a new plant and introduce one more new major product in the next two years in the market. The company has recorded a turnover of Rs 6,500 crore in 2019. B-Fizz, a malt-flavored fruit juice-based drink is the latest product that the company has launched in the market.
The company is looking to set up a plant in Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh. It has already set up greenfield facilities in Sitarganj, Uttarakhand, and Mysore, Karnataka. These plants are amongst the largest in terms of size and manufacturing capacity under the company. The company that has a total of 67 manufacturing units in India is spending about Rs 40 crore on the marketing of the newly launched product.Â
