Rs 13000 crore hydro projects planned by Tata Power
Tata Power has plans to set up pumped hydro projects of 2800 MW. The firm has signed a contract with the Government of Maharashtra in India to develop two large pumped hydro storage projects. The projects will be situated in the districts of Shirawta, Pune (1800 MW) and Bhivpuri, Raigad (1000 MW) districts and will require an investment of approximately Rs. 13000 Crore.
