Rs 35,000 crore development planned by Numaligarh Refinery
The division of Oil India Limited (OIL), the Numaligarh Refinery (NRL) has plans to invest approx. Rs 35,000 crore in the next 5 years to complete its various ongoing and proposed projects.
The projects comprise a mega expansion project for tripling NRL’s refining capacity to nine million tpa, a project to lay a transnational crude oil pipeline from Paradip in Odisha, a 2G ethanol project, and many others. Through these projects, the company seeks to enable long-term business growth in terms of revenue.
