RVNL emerges lowest bidder for Southern Railways tender worth over Rs 239 crore
Southern Railway has declared Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) as the lowest bidder (L-One bidder) for tender related to the provision of an automatic block signaling system in the Jolarpettai Junction to Erode Junction of Salem division. The total contract value is Rs 239.09 crore and has a completion period of 900 days.
This comes after RVNL's joint venture with KRDCL emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the Southern Railway's tender worth Rs 438.95 crore for the redevelopment of the Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) mode. The period of the completion of the work is 42 months.
