South Eastern Coalfields to develop 600 MW solar projects
The subsidiary of Coal India Ltd (CIL), South Eastern Coalfields (SECI) has plans to set up solar power projects of 600 megawatt (MW) capacity at an investment of more than Rs 1,000 crore. SECL would develop rooftop and ground-mounted solar power projects of 600 MW capacity in the coming years as part of the company's strategy to expand and diversify its business and achieve the Net Zero Energy goal.
