Uttar Pradesh to get 8 data centres with an investment of Rs 2 lakh crores
The state of Uttar Pradesh is set to witness a massive investment in the data centre domain. There are plans to develop 8 data centres in the state with an investment of around Rs 2 lakh crores.
For this, a dedicated 900 MW power supply framework is also being planned. The data centres will come up in cities of Noida, Greater Noida, the Yamuna Expressway region, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, and Agra. This move is a part of the state government's strategy to expand digital infrastructure and attract technology-led industries.
