Tata Group very likely to acquire Wistron factory to become iPhone maker
Tata Group is very close to an agreement to acquire an Apple Inc. supplier’s factory. This would be the first time a local company would move into the assembly of iPhones. As per the reports the negotiation for the takeover of the Wistron Corp. factory in Karnataka, valued at USD 600 million, has been going on for over a year.
