TCIL to set new data centre worth Rs 588 crore, lays foundation stone in Delhi
Public Sector Enterprise (PSE) Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) has laid the foundation for its new data center in Delhi. For the project, the firm performed the bhoomi-pooja (land ceremony) at Delhi's Vasant Kunj.
The data center is to help the Indian Coast Guard digitally transform its operations. The firm is setting up the data center with Yotta Infrastructure and Attero. The project would take an investment worth Rs 588 crore. TCIL and Yotta have signed an agreement that includes a 5-year operational expenditure (opex) and a 2-year hardware warranty.
