Uttar Pradesh CM inaugurates India's first biopolymer manufactruing unit in Lakhimpur
The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh inaugurated India's first biopolymer manufacturing unit in Kumbhi, Lakhimpur district. This unit is set by BalrampurChini Mills Ltd (BCML) and is aimed to contribute to achieving the national goal of net zero emissions.
The unit would be set with an investment of Rs 2,880 crore and is expected to begin operations by December 2026.
