100 new branches opened by HDFC bank
Leading private sector bank HDFC announced that it has opened 100 new branches across India in one day. The new branches were opened in 67 cities/towns spread across 15 states and union territories. As per HDFC, around 45 percent of these branches are in semi-urban and rural geographies. The bank has now opened 425 retail branches in the current financial year.
