Adani Airports unveils integrated airport city across five states
The wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), Adani Airport City Limited (AACL), has plans to develop an integrated airport city across 5 states. As per the firm, it will invest Rs 20,000 crore in the first phase for developing 22 million sq. ft across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Guwahati.
The work covers 655 acres across six airports, including nearly 440 acres in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai alone. These integrated cities will be designed as walkable urban districts where travellers, businesses, and local communities can access hotels, offices, retail, dining, entertainment, and convention facilities within environments seamlessly integrated with airport, Metro, and city transport infrastructure.
