Adani Group to invest Rs 63,000 crores in Assam
Adani Group has plans to invest Rs 63,000 in two major energy projects in the state of Assam. This includes a large coal-fired power plant and pumped storage projects. As per The Economic Times, the coal plant is expected to begin operations in phases from December 2030.
Adani Green Energy plans to invest about 150 billion rupees in two pumped storage projects in Assam, with a combined capacity of 2,700 megawatts (MW), including 500 MW of energy storage awarded in a recent tender.
