Tata Steel Ludhiana project: Operation likely to commence next month
Steel sector major Tata Steel's Ludhiana project is set to see the commencement of operations. Punjab's Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann announced that the operations from the new manufacturing facility will begin in March, 2026.
The new plant is located at HiTech Valley and will host a 0.75 MTPA Electric Arc Furnace-based steelmaking facility, along with a rebar mill.
