Guwahati airport: Commercial operation from new integrated terminal to begin this week
Assam Chief Minister (CM) Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that the new integrated terminal of Guwahati Airport will commence commercial operations on February 22, 2026.
As per the CM project, worth Rs 4,000 crores, will open the way for a world-class gateway in just a few years. The facility was inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi last year in December. It is spread over 1.4 lakh square metres and is designed to handle 1.3 crore passengers annually.
