GAIL plans to develop wind power project in Maharashtra
Government-owned natural gas distribution company, GAIL (India) Ltd, has plans to develop a wind power project in Maharashtra. The plan is to develop a 178.2 MW wind power project in 24 months, which is 2 years.
GAIL will invest Rs 1,736.25 crores in the development of the project. This project is part of GAIL's broader effort to boost renewable capacity and meet net-zero carbon emission targets by 2035.
