Bajaj auto plans investment worth Rs 500 crore eyes EV segment
Automotive maker Bajaj Auto is planning to step up its play in the electric vehicle (EV) segment both in two and three-wheelers. The firm has earmarked Rs 400-500 crore towards investments in EVs in FY24.
Bajaj has lined up new launches and investments, having moved past the stages of testing product performance in the real world and consumer responses. Part of the investment would also be used to set up a new electric three-wheeler facility in Aurangabad and for making dies and molds of its upcoming electric two-wheelers.
