Capital Foods Acquisition: Nestle, Tata in race to acquire the firm
FMCG company Capital Foods is seeing big names Nestle, Kraft Heinz, Hindustan Unilever, Tata, ITC, Orkla, and Nissin for its buyout. The estimated amount of sell-out would be USD 1-USD1.25 billion plus.
Capital Foods Pvt Ltd is a well-known name and is the maker of condiments, food products, and ingredients under the Ching’s Secret and Smith & Jones brands. The three main shareholders of the firm decided to put the company up for sale late last year.
