Coal India's subsidiary floats tender for grid connected solar plant in Jharkhand
The subsidiary of Coal India, Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDI) has floated a tender inviting bids for the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and testing of grid-connected solar power projects totaling 13 MW.
The projects are earmarked for Central Coalfields Ranchi at NK Area Chatra, Jharkhand, with a stipulated five-year operation and maintenance (O&M) period. As per CMPDI the last date for bid submission is March 28th, 2024. Post-selection of the winning bidder and acceptance work should commence within 30 days along with the submission of performance security. Alternatively, if the site is handed over earlier, work must start within seven days.
