Damodar Valley Floats Tender For Floating Solar Project
The Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI), on behalf of state-owned power generator Damodar Valley Corp. (DVC) has invited bids from eligible bidders for 30 MWac of grid-connected floating solar capacity on raw water reservoirs.
Solar plants will be built at DVC thermal power stations in Jharkhand (6 MW at Koderma) and West Bengal (14 MW at Mejia and 10 MW at Raghunathpur). The cumulative amount of 30 MW will be awarded to a single contractor. Scope of work involves the design, engineering, supply, construction, testing, and commissioning with comprehensive operation and maintenance services for 10 years.
