Desalination plant: BMC to float tender soon
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is very likely to float a tender for the ambitious desalination plant project next week. As per BMC, the desalination plant would be an industrial facility that extracts the saline and mineral components of seawater to make it suitable for human consumption and irrigation purposes.
