DVC's West Bengal project gets Rs 4, 528 crore loan
Government-owned power generator Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has received a loan worth Rs 4,527.68 crore from Power Finance Corporation (PFC). The loan is to set up a 1,320 MW project at Raghunathpur in West Bengal.
A statement by PFC says the Raghunathpur Phase-II project -- a collaborative effort between PFC and DVC -- will contribute significantly to the power generation capacity in West Bengal.
