Gurugram Based Renewable Energy Firm ReNew Power Signs Agreement With UNEP
Gurugram, Haryana based clean energy firm ReNew Power has entered into a partnership agreement with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The firm has partnered with the UNEP for it’s District Energy in Cities Initiative. ReNew Power would be the implementation partner of UNEP for renewable energy installations across India. The aim of this implementation would be to move the heating and cooling sector towards energy efficiency. Studies, assessments, promotion through annual events, and off-grid solar projects all would be a part of the partnership. Founded in 2011 ReNew Power is an independent power producer with an installed capacity of more than 5600 MW across India.
