India to explore new hydropower projects with Bhutan
Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Bhutan launched the India-Bhutan joint vision document on energy. The vision aims to explore new hydropower projects, besides green and solar energy projects, which could lead to additional revenue generation as per the report from The Economic Times.
Two countries will review and finalize project-specific implementation modalities for new projects, including reservoir hydro projects.
