Indian Railway's Order Bagged By Wabtec
The leading global provider of equipment, systems, and digital solutions, Wabtec has bagged the order from Indian Railways. Railway's firm Central Organisation For Modernisation Of Workshops (Cofmow) has awarded a contract to supply an Online Monitoring of Rolling Stock (OMRS) system.
It was informed that the system is part of IR’s “Smart Yard” initiative and will improve the availability of the railway’s fleet by detecting and addressing defects before they affect the operation, preventing in-service failures.
