Jindal's Rs 15,000 crore steel plant gets approval from Odisha government
The state government of Odisha has given its approval to Jindal (India) Ltd's greenfield steel plant to be built in the state. As per updates, the firm would invest Rs 3,600 crore initially and plans to invest Rs 15,000 crore in three phases by 2030.
As per updates, the new facility will manufacture special coated steel products and will feature advanced coating lines with a 9.6 lakh MT annual capacity, commissioned by 2027.
