NHAI Receives Bids From 32 Firms For UER II Project
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) informed that 32 bidders have submitted a total of 78 bids for the Delhi Urban Extension Road (UER) II project. The technical bids for the project that involves the construction of 5 civil packages of the 74.98 km in Delhi was opened on June 4, 2021. Phase -1 of the greenfield access-controlled involves 38.111 km semi-ring (NH-344M) around Delhi’s western edge and also consists of two spurs (NH-344P) to Bahadurgarh Bypass and to Barwasni Bypass in Sonipat.
Out of 5 packages of the project, the first 3 packages are related to the main UER-2 expressway, Package 4 to Sonipat Spur, and Package 5 to Bahadurgarh Spur. Afcons Infrastructure, APCO Infratech, Atlas Constructions, Ceigall India, were among the bidders for various packages of the project.Â
