Rs 1,000 crore investment in India planned by ABB
Swedish-Swiss engineering and technology major ABB Ltd's Indian arm ABB India has plans to expand the number of manufacturing facilities in India. For this, the firm will invest around Rs 1,000 crore over the next 5 years on the same.
The firm inaugurated its new factory in Nashik doubling its Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) production capacity. It will serve customers across various industries including power distribution, smart cities, data centers, transport (metro, railways), tunnels, ports, highways, and other infrastructural developments.
