Spanish Firm Siemens Gamesa Grabs Order For One Of The Largest Wind Power From Adani Green Energy
The order for Adani Green Energy’s upcoming wind power project said to be one of the largest in the country has been bagged by a Spanish firm. Siemens Gamesa would be supplying wind turbines for the project. The company would supply 215 SG 2.2-122 wind turbines, totaling 473 MW to the subsidiary of the Adani group for the project. The production of turbines would be done at the company's India based units.Â
The supplies would be for the wind power project to be set up in Fatehgarh, Rajasthan. The Zamudio based firm would supply, install, and pre-commission the wind turbines to be commissioned by September 2021.
