Tata Motors chalks out an investment plan worth Rs 35,000 crore
Tata Group's flagship firm, Tata Motors, has chalked out an investment plan worth Rs 33,000-35,000 crore in its passenger vehicle (PV) business. The plan includes the firm's electric vehicle (EV) arm over the next 5 years.
Out of the total amount, Rs 16,000-18,000 crore is earmarked specifically for the EV business between FY25 and FY30. The investment will go towards expanding the Tata Group company's products, integrating next-generation technologies, and improving profitability.
The firm plans to launch 30 models by the end of the decade, with seven all-new nameplates and 23 product refreshes, expanding its portfolio from the current 8 models to over 15 across multiple powertrains.
