TCS planning to open multiple offices across India
IT sector major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has plans to open new offices across multiple cities as part of a massive infrastructure and expansion push. The firm would invest Rs 4500 crore in the expansion is strategically targeting cities like Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Kochi to bolster its infrastructure.
In Bengaluru, TCS has made two major acquisitions—1.4–1.6 million sq ft from Sattva-Darshita for Rs 2,250 crore and 3.2 million sq ft from TRIL for Rs 1,625 crore.
The company is developing 30 acres across its Sanchita Park and Bengal Silicon Valley Hub campuses, adding capacity for 16,500 seats in Kolkata.
