Tripartite agreement for Rs 582 crore project signed by National Mission for Clean Ganga
National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) has signed a tripartite concession agreement with Jal Nigam and Vishvaraj Environment. The agreement is for Rs 582.84 crore PPP project for the development of sewage treatment plants (STPs). River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation approved the project for the construction of STPs with a total capacity of 177.6 MLD.
The project also aims to take care of the existing sewerage problems in Agra city and the resultant sewage pollution in the Yamuna.
