Uttar Pradesh to get electronics manufacturing cluster, investment worth Rs 417 crore approved
The central government has given its approval for setting up the Electronics Manufacturing Cluster (EMC 2.0) in Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddha Nagar. This project would be developed by YEIDA over 200 acres of land and is likely to be an investment of Rs 417 crore.
The cluster is expected to attract Rs 2,500 crore in investment and generate 15,000 jobs, and it aims to boost local manufacturing and innovation.
