Assam Government to allocate 6,000 bighas for Nagaon Defence Park project
The Government of Assam has given its approval for the allocation of 6,000 bighas of land near Nellie in Nagaon district for the state's first Defence Park.
The plan is to build a dedicated manufacturing hub for defence and aerospace equipment on the land, fostering a local defence-industrial ecosystem and attracting major private/public investments.
