Mecpower Solutions partners with Navitas Solar to set up a BESS facility in Karjan
Vadodara-based Mecpower Solutions has partnered with Navitas Solar to set up a 5 GWh battery energy storage system (BESS) manufacturing facility in Karjan, Gujarat.
The partnership aims to bring together Mecpower Solutions’ renewable energy project development, engineering, and execution capabilities with Navitas Solar’s manufacturing expertise. The project is expected to begin in the first quarter of FY28 and is aimed at strengthening domestic energy storage manufacturing capabilities and supporting India’s clean energy transition.
