Una Ecosystems to set up a manufacturing facility in Bhopal
Ahemdabad Una Ecosystems has plans to set up a new manufacturing facility in Bhopal. The plan is to develop a lithium-ion cell manufacturing facility at Electronics Manufacturing Cluster-2 (EMC-2) in Bhopal with an investment of Rs 2,000 crore.
The greenfield will have a manufacturing capacity of 1.5 GWh per year. This project was discussed between Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Una Ecosystems CEO Vishal Singh, and Head of Operations Lokendra Agrawal during the Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Summit 2026.
The firm received a land-allotment Letter of Intent (LoI) for the project during the Madhya Pradesh Semiconductor Summit 2026, and construction/commissioning schedules have not yet been finalized.
