AVG Logistics bags order worth Rs 198 crore from Indian Railways
Multi-modal logistics company, AVG Logistics, has bagged a contract from Indian Railways worth Rs 198 crore. The contract is signed for 6 years and is for the operation of the leased Parcel Cargo Express Train (PCET).
Under the order, four round excursions would be done each month. This dedicated freight train would create a crucial connection between Delhi/Ludhiana (Punjab) and Agartala (Tripura)/Guwahati (Assam). Over 313 journeys are planned during the contract, offering quick and easy connectivity over a distance of 2768 kilometers.
