BEML bags order worth over Rs 1 billion from Indian Army
Railway transportation company BEML has bagged an order worth Rs 1.01 billion from the Indian Army to supply an unknown number of command post vehicles (CPVs). As per the firm, the CPV is a fully enclosed metallic container mounted on a BEML 8×8 high-mobility vehicle (HMV). It is authorized to conduct reconnaissance and support mechanized infantry battalions to control the surveillance grid, collect surveillance inputs from radars, and collate and disseminate data.
