The recently announced Budget 2026 proposed 7 high-speed rail corridors across key economic and cultural regions of India. These 7 new corridors are:

Apart from delivering high-speed travel, these projects are aimed at the economic integration of the country through faster movement, boosting commerce, and deepening socioeconomic linkages between cities and regions.
