Cabinet clears Rs 76,200 crore worth Vadhavan port project
Prime Minister Modi led union cabinet has given its nod to the development of greenfield deep draft port at Vadhavan in Maharashtra with an estimated cost of Rs 76,200 crore. As per updates the port would have 9 container terminals, each 1000 meters long, 4 multipurpose berths, including the coastal berth, 4 liquid cargo berths, a Ro-Ro berth, and a Coast Guard berth.
