Capacity expansion worth Rs 850 crore planned by Aster DM Healthcare
Multinational healthcare brand Aster DM Healthcare has chalked out an expansion plan worth Rs 800-850 crore. The firm plans to add 1,500 beds in the next two to three years. The proposed expansion will take the healthcare provider's bed tally in India to 6,000-plus beds.
This includes the upcoming Aster Capital in Thiruvananthapuram with more than 350 beds in the first phase by FY26 and Aster MIMS Kasargod with about 200-plus beds. Further capacity addition would be done in Medcity, MIMS Kannur with about 100 beds each, and Aster Whitefield with 159 beds. The healthcare firm has a presence in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana and plans and is exploring opportunities in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh.
