Central government pushes for project worth over Rs 36, 296 crore for Rajasthan and Gujarat
The union government has taken action to resolve about two-dozen issues hindering the implementation of infrastructure projects worth Rs 36,296 crore in Gujarat and Rajasthan. These projects cover facilities for power evacuation from solar energy zones in the 2 states, and telecommunication network expansion project of Reliance Jio.
As per updates, there is a total of 22 issues related to 18 critical projects, collectively valued at over Rs 36,296 crore. The high-level meeting of the central government underlined the importance of private project proponents actively leveraging the Project Monitoring Group (PMG) platform to accelerate implementation.
