Government to build protection wall along the Uppada coast, project to cost Rs 323 crore
The central government is planning to develop a protection wall along the Uppada coast falling within the Pithapuram assembly constituency. Kakinada's Lok Sabha member, Tangella Uday Srinivas, informed about the project and said the project would take an investment of Rs 323 crore.
The completion of the wall will provide a permanent solution to prevent erosion of the Uppada coast, said Srinivas.
