Guwahati ring road project: DRA Infracon bags order worth Rs 5,279 crore
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) project for the construction of the Guwahati Ring Road. The work, spread over 121 km, would cost Rs. 5,729 crore.
As per updates, the development of a 55.54 km long 4 lane greenfield access-controlled Northern Guwahati Bypass (Expressway Section-1), widening of a 7.9 km existing section of NH-27 bypass from four lanes to six lanes (Section-2), and improvement of the existing 57.88 km long bypass on NH 27 (Section-3). DRAIPL will also construct a 3 km long major bridge over the Brahmaputra River.
